Northern Arctic Federal University in Arkhangelsk offers summer courses for Norwegian students and university staff who are interested to learn Russian language and experience the culture and hospitality of the neighbour country.
«Comparative peace perspectives: notions of peace at different levels of government and civil society» was the title of the international winter school held in Karelia in November 2016. The school was the result of cooperation between Centre for Peace Studies (UIT) and Petrozavodsk State University.
From October 31st to November 1st , a meeting of the representatives of Norwegian and Russian universities participating in the Barents + mobility program was held in the town of Narvik, on the campus of UIT – The Arctic University of Norway.
